Easy Saturday

The plan was to get up early, drive the hour or so down the coast for the long slow distance run and then a swim in the surf.

We slept in, decided on a little garage sale shopping and home for lunch where Katy made herb pancakes with avocado butter. This gave us the opportunity to put to use the trophy of the morning, a pottery set with tray, jug and goblets. Note Katy's mosaic table with resin cover (when she made it a year ago, a couple of flies landed and sank into the resin before it had hardened and now they are captured for eternity)

In the evening, we tackled the long runs after the temperature dropped to 90F or about 30C but the humidity stay around 70%. I cut the 30K down to 25K and slept very well that night.

25 km and a comfortable sleep: the best mix. Our descendants will watch the 2 flies in some archeological museum.
