"things like this are a true test to how much you want it"

2 hours pool running!

2 weeks to go!

Calf is improving, and so is my confidence of making the start ready to go.

What did the coach say when I asked if I had to do 2 hours of pool running as per my program?

'Well, bring on the "true test" (and a waterproof iPod case)'.

ahh ... good ol' pool running. excrutiatingly boring, but it does the trick. i've been doing an hour a week for about 4 months ... waterproof ipod is a must. that, or roping a friend into it - it's good for friends recovering from brain surgery or weeks away from giving birth. got any of those friends? cause really, no one's chomping at the bit for that job. "wanna come pool running with me?" never brings out a lot of takers.

Two hours of pool running! I didn't think Pat was that mean. Be careful in Melbourne - Albert Park Lake might be a tempting diversion.

I have never run in a pool. I have run to the pool, but then I get yelled at by the lifeguard, so I stopped :(

2 hours of pool running? Hope you had a good iPod playlist! I have never gotten the hang of it myself. Here's hoping you're back on the roads soon.
