Warwick Part I

More than 5 races over two days, the trip to Warwick is hard to describe. Glenno was right it was my kind of event.

5 sets of clothes and the physicals demands of racing with a two hour gap between races to tackle completely different terrains and distances is only half the story. What makes this experience so much better is getting to know people and sharing their highs and lows. Everyone had at least one bad race or moment but can also take away an equally significant highlight.

What a great weekend! I'm soooo glad we talked you in to coming along.

However, I do have one regret. We didn't hit Glenno with a "are we there yet?" in the car.

That sounds just like a stage race in bike racing. I love stage races. You push yourself beyond physical limits, suffer alongside your compadres... and it's usually a road trip to get there, so you're all bunking and eating together. It's a great bonding experience :) Good luck! Hope those ipod additions from Katy the Greaty help you along. hehe.

Is the dirty laundry from Warwick or those wild karaoke sessions with the air guitar last week?
